Wright Brothers Memorial – Celebrate the first flight and learn about how the Wright Brothers experiments led to a 12 second flight in Kitty Hawk, NC.

Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum – Honors the thousands of historical shipwrecks off the NC coast.  Free admission.

Ferry to Ocracoke Island – Take a 1-2 hour ride to Ocracoke Island, take your car or take the passenger ferry.  In addition to beautiful, natural beaches, Ocracoke has plenty of restaurants, shops, and fishing to make a day of it!
